Peter Schram
Peter is the Managing Partner of Communications Unlimited. He uses this fancy title as a public front for the blood, sweat and (occasional) tears that he pours into his clients’ projects.
Peter spent most of his 20’s and 30’s managing highly-complex global communications projects for equally complex organizations. Besides raking in air miles, Peter quickly gained exceptional experience in corporate communications, media relations, internal communications, crisis management, corporate reputation and social marketing.
Having spent his youth locked away in boarding schools in Africa and England, Peter fled to the cosmopolitan metropolis of Ottawa, Ontario where he achieved a BA in Political Science and History from Carleton University. A genuine scholar, he followed up his studies with a post-graduate Certificate in Public Relations from Humber College, Toronto.
Peter is the author of The Communicator, a popular weekly blog dedicated to providing consistently valuable, refreshingly concise and occasionally even witty communications insights from his experience in the trenches.
Jennifer Schram
Jennifer is the Other Partner of Communications Unlimited. A true introvert, Jennifer dedicates her considerable expertise and time to managing the research, writing and operational needs of the firm.
Before starting Communications Unlimited, Jennifer could be found in downtown Toronto managing in-house writing and communications projects for leading organizations in the hospitality and not-for-profit industries. Always a glutton for punishment, she then spent time supporting the public affairs goals of national Industry and Trade Associations on Parliament Hill.
Educated in private schools in New Delhi, Nairobi and Hong Kong, Jennifer’s utter distaste for the cold brought her back to Canada, where she earned a BA in Political Science and Law at Carleton University, Ottawa, and a post-graduate Certificate in Public Relations at Humber College, Toronto.
While she’s rarely seen at conferences or shamelessly glad-handing like her partner Peter, Jennifer is the quintessential behind-the-scenes partner who ensures our consistent delivery of superior results.
